Happy Thanksgiving free Turkeys

Talking Turkey
I have painted Bald Eagles but never a turkey.
I have seen wonderful art that depict the turkey.
But never had the desire myself.
They often come by the studio, always looking as if they’re
in a hurry to get someplace.
This sometimes makes me think about Thanksgiving
(That’s when I see them the most)and why I did this little video

I also think about the fact that the turkey was almost
our national bird and..
and what if the turkey was our national bird?
Where would the Eagle stand in our minds?
Food for thought?
This time of year I also remember to give
Thanks. It is “Thanksgiving”
I hope you share in that thought and “give thanks
for the life in us and around us.”
