Fox Painting -out colored
12"x16" Acrylic on board
Are you clever or crazy as a fox?
If you see a fox you are lucky because they are
Clever, Intelligence, Observation, Stealth, Persistence, Patience and Adaptable.
and maybe you are too...
This idea came to me when I was pumpkin picking, the pumpkins were such a beautiful rich orange and as I walked off alone to the edge of the field.
I imagined this was a good place to see a fox and I wondered if the fox would feel out colored by the pumpkins!
Best Wishes
And happy pumpkin picking!

Birds of Prey on the move!
“Ah, Birds you say?” “Something for spring.” Yes Maybe, that’s when they come back. Songbirds are best seen in spring. But fall is a great time to watch Birds of Prey.
How could I have missed all this wonderful “Sky Confetti”?
Peace out.. JoAnne

Sweet little puppy of mine
I would like to share some thoughts on the subject.
Did you know there are about 77.5 million dog owners in the United States alone? With so many Dogs and a countless number of other animals, domestic and wild that we encounter every day, teaching children how to connect and relate to them is important for our future.
One of the biggest hitches with owning a pet is the “bathroom” issue.
Where will they go and who will clean up after them?
This is just the reality of owning a pet. This can be very stressful for any pet owner and can affect and disrupt the whole household if the “doody” is where it’s not wanted.
Try Communicating with a child about their feelings and how their pet might feel. This could lead to a better connection and insight to others -pets and people alike.
The book is especially for people with kids and pets and designed to help kids relate to animals and connect to their own feelings.
So I say to all, when you step in (you know what) and it stresses you out, remember,
it's good luck and "it happens".
Love and understanding is key.

Earth Day 2011 Be Good to our Mother
Earth Day 2011
Be Good to our Mother
Wild Thoughts by JoAnne Sullam
April 22, 2011 is Earth Day
It’s the little things that count.
Have you ever heard someone say it was the little things that made or unmade their relationship?
They would say it wasn’t anything big it was “all the little things”
that (fill in the blank).
You can’t pick up a paper or turn on the TV (I don’t have one) Ok well, I do have a TV but it only plays what I put in the DVD player.
But I digress, and the point I am trying to make is that it can be scary if you think about it.
Birds falling from the sky- fish from the ocean washing up on shore.
But what can you do? Whatever you can, I hope, and what does that mean to all of us that are just trying to survive the day, the economy and live the best life we can
(I hope).
May I suggest that it is the little things that count, being thoughtful to our mother earth.
The earth belongs to us all, every creature, every tree, bird and drop of rain.
You can only do what you can do. What that means to you and what that means to me can be very different. If you plant a tree for earth day great. If not consider-
The little things. Every day. Simply ask yourself what can I do today?
This planet earth is our Mother that gives life to us all and just imagine our Mother saying what wonderful children she has and how good they are to her.
”Its the little things they do for me that I love the most” (fill in the blank). I am not going to give you any specifics because it’s all been said, we’ve heard it all a thousand times, what we should be doing, what we could be doing and what we must do. Lets just be good to our Mother.
